Every semester, the Emory University Catholic Center works to provide opportunities for students to serve the Atlanta community. Keep an eye out for opportunities in our weekly bulletin! Some of the opportunities we have had in the past include:

  • Habitat for Humanity Build Projects

  • MedShare

  • St. Francis Soup Kitchen

  • Catholic Center Work Day

Christmas Giving

During the Advent season, we sponsor a Christmas giving project. In past years, we have provided books and infant care products for Our House, Inc. and the Atlanta Day Shelter, which provide housing and early childhood education services for homeless families with infants and young children, and supported medical mission work in Haiti through the organization Eternal Hope in Haiti.

Keep an eye out for information about our giving project during the upcoming holiday season!

As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
